OMG Evil people everywhere! A young family was left devastated after a man they met on Facebook with a van whom they hire to help them move home drove away with all their belongings and left them with nothing.
Becky Szenk, 22, and her fiance Mark Higgins employed the services of removal worker who advertised as Lee Green on Facebook to help them move their flat to the pub which Mr Higgins manages in Walsall Wood, West Midlands.
But the removal workers loaded up the van, they drove off with the entire contents of the couple's flat with £10,000 worth and Ms Szenk's engagement ring and were never seen again.
The Facebook account has been taken down.
West Midlands Police is investigating the alleged theft.
Spokeswoman Gina Lycett, said: 'Police are investigating a theft after a family from Bilston hired a "man with a van" to help them move house, advertised on a social networking site.
'A van was loaded with the family's belongings from Mount Pleasant in Bilston on 25 September. The man never arrived at their new home in Walsall.
'Detectives continue to investigate the theft and are appealing to anyone with information to call West Midlands Police on 101.'
A Gofundme page has been set up to raise money for the family which has so far collected £880 worth of donations.
So there is 419 among the whites. This is wickedness.
