Association of Writers and Writing Programs, is accepting entries for the 2016 AWP sponsored Award Series competition.

Deadline for submission of entry is February 29, 2016.


The Donald Hall Prize for Poetry

The Donald Hall Prize for Poetry offers an award of $5,500, supported by Amazon.com, and publication by the University of Pittsburgh Press.
2016 Judge: Vijay Seshadri

The Grace Paley Prize for Short Fiction

The Grace Paley Prize for Short Fiction offers an award of $5,500, supported by Amazon.com, and publication by the University of Massachusetts Press.
2016 Judge: Amy Hempel

The competition is open to all authors writing in English regardless of nationality or residence, and is available to published and unpublished authors alike.
