Poetry Foundation Ghana
has announced its inaugural (2013) GHANA POETRY PRIZE, built on the
popular 2012 Online Competition under the name Ghana Poetry Awards. The
prize will be an award of Gh ₵ 2,000 (equivalent to $ 1,000).
The aim of this prize is to support younger emerging poets and the contest is open to anyone, anywhere in the world. The submission (MAXIMUM OF TWO POEMS) must not be more than 30 lines long. IT IS FREE TO ENTER. The deadline is June 30, 2013.
Please post your submissions to the address submissions@poetryfoundationghana.org with the subject Poetry Prize.
THE SHORTLIST WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN JULY, THE WINNER BY SEPTEMBER
