The Oxford Brookes Poetry Centre has launched a new International Poetry Competition.
With two top prizes on offer, the Oxford Brookes International Poetry competition seeks to celebrate the great diversity of poetry being written in English all over the world. Poems are welcomed in the following two categories:
– ESL category – open to all poets over 18 years of age who speak English as a second language
– Open category – open to all poets over 18 years of age
In each category the first prize for the best single poem is £1000, with a second prize of £200.To enter submit an unpublished, original poem via email. It costs £5 to submit a poem or £4 per poem for more than three entries. You may enter up to ten poems, providing they are unpublished. All entrants can be based anywhere in the world, but must be over 18.
