Oh my gosh now with a 3D printer you can print guns. In 2012, the U.S.-based
group Defense Distributed disclosed plans to design a
working plastic gun that
could be downloaded and reproduced by anybody with a 3D printer."
Defense Distributed has also designed a 3D printable AR-15 type rifle
lower receiver (capable of lasting more than 650 rounds) and a variety of
magazines, including ones for AK-47.
Soon after Defense Distributed succeeded in designing the first working
blueprint to produce a plastic gun with a 3D printer in May 2013, the United States Department of State
demanded that they remove the instructions from their website.
In 2013 a Texas company, Solid
Concepts, demonstrated a 3D printed version of an M1911
pistol made of metal, using an industrial 3D printer. This 3D printed guns
can go undetected by metal detector if a metal plate is not inserted into the
printed body which makes it a very dangerous weapon to be in circulation and to
say it can be printed by anyone with a 3D printer is bad.

My question now is: If this technology hits the shores of Nigerian, how
dangerous can that be considering the volatile nature of our country? Will you
get one if you have a 3D printer?
Please let’s get a bit interactive, drop your comment about the 3D gun
evolution in the comment sector and do have a blissful weekend.
This is not a welcome technology,it will only increase crime rate in the world
