TODAY IN HISTORY: On July 7, 1984 Nigeria and Britain ends a 2-day diplomatic standoff as a result of the infamous kidnap of exiled millionaire politician, Mr Umaru Dikko from Britain in a crate marked diplomatic baggage, another crate also marked diplomatic baggage had two unknown men from middle East. see the full story here


 And again on July 7, 1998. the winner of the annulled June 12, 1993 Presidential election Bashorun MKO Abiola died in detention.
