CCTV footage released by authorities in Thailand, show the suspect, a man in yellow shirt leaving a backpack in the Erawan Hindu Shrine.
20 people died in the explosion, including 8 foreigners, and scores were injured.
The bomb detonated at about 1900hrs on Monday when the shrine is most crowded.
According to officials investigation has began, while the man captured in the CCTV footage is wanted for questioning.
