Death toll from the last night coordinated terrorist attacks on Paris rises to 150, with dead bodies littering the French capital and the entrance of the Bataclan hall. Over 100 are killed in the attacks on the Bataclan theatre alone.
French president Francois Hollande have declared a three day national mourning and deployment of 1500 strong troops across the nation. Schools were also shut as a result of the Paris carnage.
Eyewitness accounts indicates that the gunmen numbered 8 wielding Kalashnikov and AK-47 assault riffles came into the theatre where they carried out the massive massacre, shooting indiscriminately and people were falling here and there. Then when Police swooped the area they gunmen detonated thier explosive belts.
France was placed in lockdown after at least eight militants, all wearing suicide vests, brought unprecedented violence to the streets of the French capital in the bloodiest attack in Europe since the Madrid train bombings in 2004.
Police are also hunting accomplices amid fears the plot may not be over. The arrest of a 51-year-old man in Germany last week after firearms were discovered in his car has been linked to the attacks, according to media reports.
The chilling footage emerged as Francois Hollande accused ISIS of orchestrating the worst attacks in France for more than 70 years, declaring it an 'act of war' and vowing to 'mercilessly' strike back.
