According to Punch, The three abducted schoolgirls of Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary in Ikorodu, Lagos have been rescued by the police.
It was reported that the schoolgirls were rescued in an overnight operation by the police while some of the kidnappers were arrested.
Lagos state Police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the rescue and arrest of the kidnappers.
“Yes, the girls have been rescued safely by the police in an overnight operation. We also made some arrests,” she said.
