The trinidad+tobago film festival (ttff), in association with RBC Royal Bank, invites applications for the fifth annual RBC Focus: Filmmakers’ Immersion, to be held in Port of Spain, Trinidad, from 23 to 26 September 2015.
Applications are open to filmmakers from the Caribbean and its diaspora. The application deadline is 10 July.
RBC Focus: Filmmakers’ Immersion is an intensive development
programme that provides 10 selected filmmakers with the opportunity to
learn from internationally respected filmmakers and other film
professionals. At the end of Focus, all participants will be given an
opportunity to pitch their project to a jury at the ttff/15. The
participant with the best project and pitch will win a cash prize of
TT$20,000 (US$3,153).
All applicants must submit a maximum three-minute excerpt of a
previous film (narrative short or feature) via Vimeo link, stating their
role(s) on the film. They must also submit their résumé and a 100-word
cover letter which states the concept of their project and what makes it
unique.
