The most influential
and controversial rap icon in the history of hip-hop would have celebrated his
44th birthday yesterday June 16, but for the drive-by shooting that
cold night in Las Vegas, he died six days later on September 13, 1996 at the of
25. I am talking of no one else but the Great Tupac (2pac) Amaru Shakur. Even
in death he’s remains relevant in the game and still regarded as the greatest
rapper of all time.
Born
Lasane Parish Crooks on June 16, 1971 in the East Harlem section of New York to
Afeni
Shakur (born Alice Faye Williams), and his father, Billy Garland, were
active members of the Black Panther Party in New York in the late
1960s and early 1970s. He’s a Multi platinum award winner and his hit songs
always makes it to the top list on Bill board.
Some of his hit albums includes Me againtz the world, All eyez of me
and Don Killuminati. One theory after his death has it the Don Killuminati
actually means he’s against the illuminati and wants to end their domination of
entertainment industry and control of the world which ultimately led to his assassination.
Well the world still loves you Pac and your music is very much alive..
Happy posthumous birthday and rest in peace Mr. Shakur.
Which is your favourite Tupac’s album/song?
