"For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth." Zachariah 4:10(KJV)
Everyone of us dreams, but not many act or work towards making his/her dream a reality. We give to many excuses as to while this dream never left the launch pad...many a time we say to ourselves 'oh i am not privilege who will listen to me' or i can't start from here, it will take forever before i get it right and get to the peak.' Forgetting that every big thing started from a small and humble beginning and that no one will ever associate with failure, plus loads of people out there are waiting to steal that little dream of yours.
I know a lot of men and women who started from a very humble beginning, many with no hope of achieving anything in life but today are on the list of World's richest, donating huge sums of money to support many charity cause..All because they never saw their little beginning as a barrier to that success wish was rooted deep inside them. They saw what others didn't see, they endured the unspeakable in the quest to carve a niche for themselves and now the world celebrates them.
Take for instance "Republican Presidential candidate and former retired Neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who was the first surgeon to successfully separate conjoined twins joined at the head. His father left his mother when he was eight and he and his brother were raised by their mother, he shared his troubled childhood and his many struggles growing up in his book 'Gifted Hands' but all this never stopped him from achieving greatness." Another example is "British novelist J.K Rowling best know for the Harry Potter series, she stated that her teenage year were unhappy and in 1982 Rowling took the entrance exam for Oxford University but was not accepted.Harry Potter is now a global brand worth an estimated US$15 billion, and the last four Harry Potter books have consecutively set records as the fastest-selling books in history."
You too can impact the world positively, If you work towards achieving that dream of yours, no matter how odd it may be or sound like. People may laugh at how silly that ideal is, they will discourage you for not following the conventional way of doing things, but stand firm in your quest to achieve success and always remember every invention and ideal that has helped shaped the world started as someones brainchild and dream.
The time is now to launch that dream, Don't let that dream die, make a move...Remember the story of the Fern and Bamboo, Though where you're now may be insignificant. But if you work hard and extra smart you can achieve your set goals and anything you set your mind on in the nearest future. Don't be complacent, Complacency kills.
