Police Constable kills two Senior Policemen in Yobe

A Police constable in Yobe State, suspected to have gone insane killed two senior police officers before turning the gun on himself.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer in Yobe State, ASP Toyin Gbedegesin, The constable went berserk this morning, grabbed a rifle and shot the two inspectors who died instantly. He also shot himself and was rush to the Hospital, where he died from the gunshot wound.

“The cause of his action is not known yet but investigation into the unfortunate incident has begun to unravel the remote and immediate cause of his action,” Gbadegesin said.
