The leadership crisis rocking the major opposition party in Nigeria took another dimension today, as disgruntled members of the Peoples Democratic Party formed a new party known as the Peoples Mega Party (PMP).
According to reports in Daily Trust, a faction of the PDP in collaboration with like minds in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) formed a new party known as the Peoples Mega Party (PMP). The new party adopted human picture as its logo while its slogan will be 'Forward Nigeria.'
It was reported that Chief Perry Opara led the PDP faction to the maiden meeting, while Chief John Agbara, led the APGA faction.
