Call for entries: The AROHO (A Room Of Her Own Foundation)

The AROHO (A Room Of Her Own Foundation) invites entries to its Orlando Prize. The prize aims to celebrate Virginia Woolf’s title character’s liberation from conventional restraints.

Open to women writers around the world, this multi-genre competition welcomes submissions of poetry, flash fiction, short fiction and creative nonfiction. The AROHO Foundation accept multiple submissions, and are on the lookout for diverse topics and styles. Winning submissions in all four genres receive a $1,000 prize and are published in The Los Angeles Review. The entry fee is $15 and the deadline is July 31.
