On 15 April 1912, RMS Titanic, the British dream Passenger liner sank in the North Atlantic Ocean after colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York, more than 100 years after the doomed Ship dubbed 'Indestructible' or  'ship of dreams' sank an Australian billionaire Clive Palmer and his company Blue Star Line have announced plans to unveil a ship the is physically identical to the Titanic.

At 882 feet long by 100 feet high, the fully functioning replica will be the same size as the original but will include modern safety and navigational features.

175 Escape from Sinking Passenger Ferry in Indonesia

MEDITERRANEAN: Italy arrests five men over Libya migrant shipwreck

 According to Al Jazeera and Agency, Italian police have arrested five men accused of multiple murders and human trafficking following a deadly shipwreck off the coast of Libya which left more than 200 people feared drowned.

Two Libyans, two Algerians and a Tunisian, ranging in age from 21 to 24, were placed under formal arrest on Friday in Palermo after being questioned on Thursday.

Police had earlier mistakenly identified the Tunisian as a Libyan.

SS Ourang Medan(The Ghost Ship)

According to Wikipedia The SS Ourang Medan was a ghost ship which, according to various sources, became a shipwreck in Indonesian waters after its entire crew had died under suspicious circumstances. Skepticism exists about the truthfulness of the story, suggesting that the ship may have never actually existed, but has become something of a legend, But there have been several accounts from reports of an SOS message in 1947 that mentioned the captain, along with the rest of the crew, was dead. What’s worse, even the telegrapher died during the transmission of the message.

A wooden fishing boat packed with at least 600 migrants on board overturned in the Mediterranean Sea Wednesday as rescuers were approaching.

Italian coast guard officials said the vessel had issued a distress call, but the overcrowded boat tilted over to one side just as rescue ships were approaching, throwing many passengers into the water.

Several rescue ships, including Italian and Irish naval vessels, rushed to the site to perform rescues. At least 100 people had been plucked from the waters some 22 nautical miles north of Zuwara, but several hundred were feared dead.

Dive team discovers 116-year-old shipwreck in Lake Michigan

A 65.2 metre (214-foot) steamship called the John V. Moran has been discovered in Lake Michigan, more than a century after it sank.
A team with the Michigan Shipwreck Research Association located the vessel off the coast of Muskegon last month during a sonar search. Because the shipwreck sits under 365 feet of lake water, officials with the association decided to wait for the water to warm up before performing a dive.
With help from the Michigan State Police Underwater Recovery Unit, the team reached the wreck on July 8, just over 116 years after the ship sank.
