What! Another of the many crazy things we see or hear in this weird world of ours. Dear DTB reader you will not believe someone paid £11,000 for a lump of Whale vomit! Yes, you read that right, a whooping 3,300,000 million Naira for a smelly and unsightly lump of whale vomit.

The smelly lump, was found on a beach in Anglesey off the north-west coast of Wales.
According to the BBC, auctioneer Adam Partridge was delighted to have shifted the 1.1kg lump, that was snapped up by a phone bidder from France, who they believed will be displaying the Whale vomit known as 'ambergris' with pride.
The auctioneer said after the Macclesfield auction yesterday: ‘Somebody brought this smelly waxy rugby ball-shaped lump to us and asked us to sell it for them,’ he added.
‘There are many things which can be mistaken for ambergris – fat, rubber and palm oil amongst others – but after doing some research and consulting the authorities on such things, we found out that what we had was indeed very valuable.
‘We’ve had lots of unusual items pass through the doors over the years, but this is by far the weirdest.’

The rich guy must be a junk collector, tho some claims ambergris can be used in perfumes..remember someone also bought the last gum Sir Alex Ferguson chewed on final match day with Manchester united..Happy Sunday
