SATURDAY DIGEST: World's greatest unsolved mysteries (Day 11)

Good morning dear DTB readers, bet you had a lovely week out there and how's the weekend going?
This week, the BigFoot also known as Sasquatch joins our list of World's greatest unsolved mysteries today.
The Bigfoot is the name of a giant creature resembling human but cover in hair that is believed to live in the forest, mainly in the Americas.

The giant, hairy and muscular creature adults is believed to grow up 3m (9.8ft) tall and estimated to weigh up to 1,000 pounds (450 kg)The colour of Bigfoot's hair is usually black, dark brown or reddish.

Another feature that distinguish this creature from Gorillas is that 'Female Bigfoot's have visible breast' but the breast are located lower on their chest than a human's.

Though most scientist dismissed the existence of Bigfoot and consider it some sort of folklore, mis-identification and hoax as a result of lack of evidence of such a large creature but there's have been reported sightings of the Bigfoot published in many journal with the most recent being September 16, 2007, when hunter Rick Jacobs captured an image of a supposed Sasquatch by using an automatically triggered camera attached to a tree. A spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Game Commission said that it was an image of "a bear with a severe case of mange." The photo was taken near the town of Ridgway, Pennsylvania, in the Allegheny National Forest.

Other signs that points in the direction of Bigfoot's existence, according to researcher Grover Krantz are Tracks(footprints) of the creature "The bottom of the foot is flat; there is no longitudinal arch of the foot, nor a transverse one." Further analysis finds the average foot length to be 15.6 inches, with a low end of 7 inches and a high of 27. Grover Krantz writes, "... for individuals of the same stature the Sasquatch foot is 23 percent longer than the human.
They also found broken or twisted-off saplings. Beds, nest, bowers and dens. Plus native American also kept records and gave accounts of encounter with the Bigfoot.

But till date no concrete evidence or prove that the Bigfoot exist or not making it mystery and earning a place on our long-list of World's greatest unsolved mysteries.....
