Has Jack the Ripper finally been unmasked?

If you've been following my SATURDAY DIGEST "World's Greatest unsolved mysteries" you will note that i did my post on the Jack the Ripper's mystery yesterday..you can read it here Well today news just broke that Jack the Ripper may finally have been unmasked following a claim that the serial killer's last victim was in fact his estranged wife and the real target of his 19th century murder spree.

The theory was put forward by the author of a new book who believes he has evidence that Mary Jane Kelly, a Whitechapel prostitute, was his great aunt and that she was killed by Francis Spurzheim Craig.

Now, in an extraordinary turn of events, the Ministry of Justice has indicated that it will grant the first exhumation licence for the grave of a Ripper victim to establish if the claims are true.

The couples body was discovered on Sunday morning

A murder investigation has been launched after a couple were found dead at their family home. 

The bodies of a couple named locally as Tracey Baker, 42, and her husband Kevin, 35, were discovered at the property in the market town of Chard, Somerset, on Sunday morning.

A neighbour said the couple, who are believed to have two daughters and a son under the age of 10, had recently encountered marital problems after Mr Baker stopped working due to health issues

Officers were called to the home, believed to be worth around £140,000, at around 10.30am on Sunday. Mrs Baker died from multiple head injuries and Mr Baker hanged himself, police said. 

Avon and Somerset Police has launched a murder investigation but said it was an 'isolated incident' and that officers were not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.

A neighbour, who did not want to be named, said the couple 'hadn't been getting on very well recently'.

United States: Ex-marine found guilty of killing stripper in June 2012

An ex-marine has been found guilty of dismembering a stripper he invited to a 'private party' at the apartment he shared with his girlfriend.

Sex offender Terry Speaks, 42, was convicted of second-degree murder following the death of Jaren Lockhart, 22, whose body parts washed ashore on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in June 2012.

He told the court from the witness stand on Friday, June 19th 2015 that he and co-defendant Margaret Sanchez, his ex-girlfriend, last saw the victim after arranging for her to go to a party with a stranger named Nick, and dance for $500.
